When can I buy it?

How much does it cost?
The price is revealed on 3 November, and waitlist members hear it first. It's a one-time payment, and the waitlist gets 25% off it., paid once, plus local tax where it applies. No subscription. The waitlist gets 25% off.
Which computers does it run on?
Windows, Mac and Chromebook, in Chrome or Edge. It isn't made for phones or tablets. You can install it like an app, and it works offline after that.
Do I need to be online?
Only to open it the first time and to enter your licence key. After you've opened it once online, editing and exporting work offline, and your footage never leaves your computer.
What do I need to make a video?
Your clips or photos. A voice recording and music are optional, and so is a script. With a script, Cutscene places each clip at the line whose words match the clip's name or description, and turns the script into captions.
What happens to my email address?
It's used to send your launch code and news about Cutscene, nothing else. It's kept in a Google Sheet, never sold, and every email has an unsubscribe link. The privacy policy has the details.
